Waldheim

The Waldheim continuo-organ was created by the endeavour of Kantor René Michael Röder. The instrument is not only used for continuo but also for liturgical playing in a cemetery chapel.

After long talks and a continuously vivid exchange arose an organ with two wooden Gedackts 8 und 4foot, a Twelfth and Fifteenth of metal, a Principal 8 from g# and a Regal 16foot.

I never will forget the five inaugurational concerts in different sites of the town, that took place within one week.

A small recording of the organ inside the Waldheim Parish church displays some of its features.
